I think that tatoos are ultimately ugly. Take what looks good now and add 40 years - eeewww.

i really doubt my toe is going to be greatly affected by age.



thanks everyone for the tips, good point too indra on the 'bleeding'. i was wondering about that, but not sure how elastic toes are.

Angela....go for it! Tats are great...I've got a couple. The biggest and most important thing is finding a tattoo artist that you feel comfortable with and one that has a portfolio that showcases a style similar to what your were looking for. Even better, if you can find an artist that will draw you an original design for an inexpensive cost....then you'll have a one of a kind design! Angie baby,

Before you make any decisions, go talk to at least one reputable tattoo artist. The ones that have worked on me don't recommend tats on feet. It hurts, they are easily messed up, and they are difficult to get to heal properly.

After all that, sketch out the design you like, go to a few libraries and look at the art books.

And then , go get tattooed!!! I've never been sorry, I love my tats more all the time, and I always want more!
