Got the album today. 1st Track is 'Attack' - blistering!!!

hmmm. Up to track 8 now, and nothing has sounded better than the 1st song as yet.

This album is poor. I can't see it even growing on me. Only track 1 is any good, and i'm starting to go off that one now!

I reckon they were trying to do a GnR Illusion 1 & 2, and ended up failing miserably. Tho I still think many fans will go out and buy this for the sake of it.

Hypotnize gets released here in the states on Nov. 22nd.
Although, I can think of at least 30 co-workers who will flood the record stores to buy this sequel to Mesmerize, it's first and foremost reason no matter what the outcome is ... is because Mesmerize was such a GREAT and SUCCESSFUL album.
Hopefully, if the album isn't as good ... people will at least give it a chance with several days of listens before complaining about it.
I'm actually looking forward to hearing this album at work when it gets released !!

Why is it that everything is NOT released on the same date ??
It seems us over here in the u.s.a. ALWAYS have to be penalized and wait a few extra days !!

I heard from a radio producer here in Greece wich btw is the biggest record collector here, that he predicts that it will enter at #1 at the U.S. charts...

The album is sooooo weird! I usually love System but im worried about this CD. Attack is outstanding and the Tribal beat in Hypnotize was awsome. Otherwise pretty weird.

But with all the supposedly 'failure and weirdness' comments that everyone is saying about this album, I wonder if it will even stay there longer than the first week !!

I have Mezmorize and listened to it in it's entirety last friday. it is worthy. Much weirder than previous efforts. But it is fantastic.

Should I be worried now about Hypnotize?

Mezmorize: outstanding trax IMO are Cigaro, Violent Pornagraphy, Sad Statue, and the last song (something Hollywood)

I only heard 3 songs so far and I'm not going to comment yet until I hear the entire album !!
Hopefully that will be next Sunday night as my fellow co-workers keep saying they will continue to play this album at work !!
