My dad has had heart problems in the past. Arrhythmias, electrical problems, that kind of thing. He had to quit drinking coffee for that reason.

 I assume so. It's like really bad heartburn - I had half a cup of caramel latte. It hurts when I breathe in. Hopefully it'll stop soon.

It's ok, I'm not gonna flake on you....just be highly uncomfortable for about half an hour

How's your foot Khan?
 i hope you feel better soon!

it's still kinda sore, but my follow-up appointment is thursday, so i'm not stressing too much. i found out a coworker's mother-in-law had it in both feet :yikes: and she was like "get it done asap" :giggle:

Ooh he's got the same kind of thing as me!! AVNRT & Atrial Tachycardia - both of them are Supraventricular Tachycardias - basically different types of Arrhythmias. I'm one of the 'lucky' ones who had two of them, and the latter is very rare, and next to impossible to treat. Caffeine has never bothered it in the past - had some of my worst attacks when NO caffiene is in my diet! But it seems to not like me now

Yes, you make sure you get it done young lady!! :shame:

:yikes: that sucks :( i feel for anyone who has to stop doing something for any medical reason, that just seems so unfair

I went to the doctor for chest pains once. That was really scary. I knew nothing was really wrong, but just went to make sure...the pain didn't go away for a few days, and I was sick off and on throughout the next week. It was really strange and I still have no idea what that was.

Wasn't something like pulled chest muscles was it? My heart specialist said that can give nasty heart-like pain....

Yep, I'm certain that's what it is. He was on medication for ages, but it was lowering his blood pressure dangerously, so they had to wean him off. I still see him check his pulse sometimes...I know it still troubles him. He's had that since he was 18.

Hi Ian :flirt:

It could have been a indigestion/bug, because, like I said, I was sick for a while. It was bad though. I had pain in my arm too.

:yikes: even though you knew you were fine, like you said, that still must've been scary

I've only had mine badly since January. But I was getting very prolonged severe attacks which is why I was fast tracked to have the surgery to try and fix it. They got the AVNRT which was causing the blackouts, but not the other. I'm off all meds now while we sit back and see what happens. I was really zonked on the first lot of meds they had me on, but the 2nd ones weren't so bad - only slowed me down a little.
