i have a really nice chair for my desk.
very comfy.
only thing wrong with it is it's got these foam padded arm rests.
the foam has started to dissintigrate in the middle of the arm rest and flake away.

i don't want to buy a new chair just yet.
i've been trying to think of something i could put in the crack to seal it.

i was thinking maybe some black caulk? or is there something else that anyone can think of that might be better?

delightfully devilish, mr baw

How about duct tape? It's an all purpose solution. You know how the people on Survivor get to take one item with them? I'd take a roll of duct tape.

i never watch survivor.
i want the fix to be not so noticeable as duct tape wold be.
just something to fill it in rather than putting something over it.

um, i said no tape

Call the company......there should be info on the bottom of the chair....call them to send you an arm rest replacement...that's what I did....it worked.

:D

You know, it's terribly unwise to read these types of threads when you're "studying" in the library. Reading the phrase "ghetto chair" made me snort really, really loudly. The guy sitting next to me must think I'm insane.
