I drove from Mojave to Santa Maria yesterday for a wedding. I had to drive through the Tehachapis (a small range of small mountains) and Subterranean Homesick Alien is the perfect song for such a task. The road rolls through the hills as a perfect accompaniment to the rolling of the song. It was as if the song was written for the road.

Come to SoCal and try it sometime.

Sounds like a good idea. I'll be in closer to that general area soon. :)

I love it when certain songs seem made for certain drives. I prefer trance music in heavy, fast city traffic and beautiful, peaceful, evocative songs for wide open roads.

*boosting* in honor of all who feel the world is safer, happier and more productive with a Radiohead thread at the top of the page.
