Yes, not a stupid question at all.

Like Zoots, I have several in my CD wallet, but in my main armrest compartment (from what I can remember):

Slowdive - Souvlaki (currently playing)
Arcade Fire - Arcade Fire EP
Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
The Beatles - White Album (Discs 1 & 2)
(?) - The Good, The Bad & The Queen
Bloc Party. - Silent Alarm
Bloc Party. - A Weekend In The City
Elbow - Leaders Of The Free World
The Knife - Silent Shout
U2 - The Joshua Tree

There might be a couple more burned cds on top of each other in one cd case, but I can't remember right now.

Most times I'll just plug in my iPod, but for longer trips I love just letting albums play.

U2 - Achtung Baby (I literally have a copy of this for my car and one for the house)
Pearl Jam - Yield
Pearl Jam - Vitalogy
Chris Cornell - Euphoria Morning
The Beatles anthology
My Morning Jacket - Z
U2 - Zooropa
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Radiohead - The Bends
R.E.M. - Monster
Vertigo Hawaii bootleg
Clint Mansell - The Fountain
Soundgarden -Superunknown
Damien Rice - O

Kind of an eclectic mix.

6-cd stack:
1. U2 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
2. Alanis Morissette - The Collection
3. Coldplay - X&Y
4. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
5. Flaming Lips - War With the Mystics
6. Arcade Fire - Funeral

I need to change the first 3!

so, are:

U2 - 18
Delays - You See Colours (I think, because I can't find it anywhere)
Royksopp - Melody AM

and my iPod

I finally got a CD player installed in my car, so I can join in on threads like these. My glove compartment only holds three, since the plug cable for my iPod takes up more space than I'd anticipated. Currently it's Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Pop, and the Pixies' Come On Pilgrim.
