studying for shows

Getting ready for shows like studying for a test? I think so. Learning all the songs. Listening to the groups daily or more often. Remembering the names of each band member. Reading the press clippings.

Upcoming for me and so exciting:

I don't see enough shows that I need to study for them. If I'm going to make the effort to see a band live I already know those things about them.

I know. That sounds really pitiful.
