I can't say I'm familiar with them, but the Pitchfork review actually got me excited about the album... maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow. I take it is a challenging record?

Well, they're an avant-garde band, and I think they all just play synthesizers all the time.

Ian is about fifteen hours by car away from me, or seven and a half days by airline.

FTR, this album is already proving to be much better on a second listen. I had some sort of expectations when I went into it the first time, and it wasn't exactly what I'd thought it would be, so, I needed a reboot listen anyways.

also i'm trying to find the thread in which i got married or engaged or whatever to ian, so i can divorce him for khan's sake.
