I was actually surprised when I got my username. Great song, my favourite, or one of, here is a sample -

Zooropa... Don't worry baby, it's gonna be alright
Zooropa... Uncertainty... can be a guiding light
Zooropa... I hear voices, ridiculous voices
Zooropa... In the slipstream
Zooropa... Let's go, let's go... overground
Zooropa... Take your head out of the mud baby

strange enough that overground is my name on every other forum but I couldn't get it here.

I joined Interference right around the time "Atomic Bomb" was released, so I had those songs on the brain.

Plus, I like deciphering lyrics. Plus, to me, U2's music is like a lyrical drug. Plus, I frequently consume large volumes of dangerous drugs.

Hence the name.

My screen name is the town in Ireland where my dad's family came from. Hello to all the Conway's and O'Malley's from Westport and Newport, Ireland.

I travelled there in 1991. It is a beautiful place on the West coast.

It is my "unique name" from when I was a student at Michigan. Just stuck with me. Its the first initial of my first name attached to my last.

I'm (partially) of Icelandic decent and there's this thing about the Icelandic: They really don't do well with foreign names. The first time I spent my summer there it took my cousins 2 hours to bastardise my middle name to Silja. It also so happens that it was my great-grandmothers nickname and she was one of the wise women so I don't complain. Oddly enough it’s usually not taken anywhere so chances are that if you run into a Silja on a board somewhere that it’s me.

My username comes from Bono's pet name for Edge circa the LoveTown tour. There are a few recordings from that tour where Bono refers to Edge as Reggie The Dawg, and its something thats stuck in my mind ever since. On some soundboard bootlegs you can often hear Bono calling Edge, 'Reg/Reggie' off-microphone. I was gutted when Bono started calling Edge FunkyDawg lol, he will always be Reggie to me!

Hmm, the story of my username started before I joined interference...sometime in my first year of college. I wanted to sign up for a yahoo email account and didn't want to use my real name. Because I had grown up in Indonesia on the island of Sulawesi, I decided to go for the rather unoriginal "sulawesigirl". When I joined interference back in the dark ages, I tried registering that name but for some reason got an error, so I added a random number which happened to be "4" to see if I could make it work and...voila. sulawesigirl4 was born. But I generally go by "sula".

In an odd twist of fate, after going by the moniker of sula for some 8 or 9 years, I met and am still with my boyfriend whose nickname is Sul (short for Suliman).
