the 2nd utd goal wasn't spectacular (although it was ruud's 150th for the club), but the finish on the first one

here's a link to the 1st utd goal

thanks to the people at fbtz.com (of which i am addicted to)

i dunno, villa lost 5-0 yesterday so competition for team spots can't be that hard

but Park was great against westham on wednesday, so i don't understand why he got dropped for fletcher. hope fletchers not in the team against arsenal

I think we will give Man U a good game next weekend although it will be first time in years that neither Keane or Vieira will be playing. The intensity of the occasion is probably gone somewhat. Of course, a lot depends on how we get on against Juve on Wednesday. If we get through to the next round, confidence will be high.

i didn't think of the Keane vs Viera thing. Neville can bring some intensity though who is the arsenal capt now? Henry?

i don't really think arsenal will win at old trafford, their away record is not good this season & uniteds home form is brilliant.

whether arsenal win or lose in Turin it's still an extra game played while united don't play, after the game last week too fatigue might be an issue with some arsenal players. but as far as the result goes you can never tell how that influences the play at the weekend, i remember some of uniteds biggest wins in the league in recent years were right after losing in europe.

i'd expect lots of attacking football at old trafford though from both teams.

Well, the game is on Sunday, so an extra days rest plus if we do get a good result (or avoid getting knocked out) then confidence will be high. We are playing very very well at the moment so it wont be easy for Man U. Although you guys are on a good roll at the moment, your not playing brilliant football.

Be an interesting game though!

very interesting indeed

but i do think the United are playing very well in attack, the amount of chances we create in every game.

2 teams playing very attacking football. will be an excellent game

much better than watching chelsea

Thierry Henry is just unstoppable at the moment however.

Chelsea seem to be on a slippery slope at the moment. Boring football, annoying manager - his charm has long worn off - and crap attitude towards everyone else outside of Chelsea

i never liked Jose, his charm didn't have to wear off for me.

yeah sunday's game will be awesome. last time they met though, didn't it end up in a scoreless draw? that was a bloody boring game if i've ever seen one.

it's a good thing arsenal been picking it up lately...at least if they were hoping to retain henry's services. he's up for a new deal after the season, and apparently 7uventus will be going after them hard.

however, i read he's much more interested in collecting hardware than collecting a few extra pounds. might be typical bullshit all players say before they become a free agent, but it doesn't hurt that arsenal's playing solid these days.

good ol' viera should have taken note that personal wealth does not equal a happy experience. don't tell me he doesn't wish he was back in england...

yes but last time was at highbury with their tiny pitch, so the midfield gets congested. the pitch at old trafford is much bigger which allows for more open play. most games i've seen at highbury are relativly boring.

apart from that one a couple of years ago where it ended up 2-2. think ruud and giggs scored for united, can't remember who scored for arsenal. that was an awesome match.

i hate chelsea. couldn't even beat bloody birmingham city
