Starring Johnny Depp as.......Barnabas Collins?

Hey guys...GREAT news for all you DS fans out there!

I recently was on the Dark Shadows Journal website and there was an article in Variety from August 2007 that said that a deal has been signed to produce a new Dark Shadows movie with none other than......................

JOHNNY DEPP!!

Needless to say, such a movie would be AWESOME and to have JD play Barnabas would be an amazing choice - especially if they base the movie on the 1795 storyline where Barnabas first becomes a vampire.....oooooooh he can bite my neck anytime!

As a DS fan from way back in the 60's, this is indeed great news and I've even taken the liberty of putting together my own "fantasy cast" if the movie is ever made.

I used to watch DS with my mom when I got home from school! It would be so cool to see it brought back to life ESPECIALLY if the delicious Mr Depp were starring as Barnabus Collins!
