Talk about late to the party. You guys have got me all excited for this. I am now listening to the album on VH1.com having alread pre-ordered it from Itunes.

Can somebody explain to my why they haven't announced an LA date? Or have I just missed the announcement? Cause, I would really like to see them, and I seriously doubt I'm going to be able to get Weenie Roast tix.

I cannot wait until Tuesday!!!! I haven't been this excited about an album release since U2 last year.

I want to buy this on iTunes for the pre-sale concert option but I really need to own the actual CD of this one.

^^ yeah, taht's odd that the LA date hasn't been announced yet. but maybe it will be later? that's how it was with coldplay. all the other dates were announced first, but somehow, anaheim arrowhead pond and LA were annoucned a little later.
let's keep our fingers crossed

after the other morning when i found out our record had leaked
i freaked
it leaked i freaked
after calming down a little bit
and finding out more about what actually happens
it has been bought to my attention by some intelligent people
that most of the people who down load the record before it comes out
are people who really love our music and believe in what we do
and they go out and get the real thing anyway
but of course they can not wait to hear it
and are willing to hear a substandard version first
because they are excited to hear it
and of course i understand and i would do the same thing
it just really scared me that people would be hearing something
without the depth of sound that we strive for

And this is why Flea is one of my favourite musicians.

I'll give it a proper listen tomorrow, but so far I really love Stadium Arcadium, Snow (Hey Oh), Hard to Concentrate....and a few others I'm forgetting right now!

They killed Dani California on SNL..great performance. Flea had "John Belushi" written across his bare chest...nice tribute to a former star of the show. The next song is up next...hope I can stay awake...the commercials are lasting forever!

They're playing Give It Away.

What, they couldn't play another new song?

I didn't think the performance of Dani California was that great.

Damn the NBC affiliate here....they cut off the start of Give It Away

Yes, that was a pretty safe one to play. Maybe they wanted to connect the old with the new for any kind of new audience not really familiar with them? (Those people living under rocks.) It would've been cool to have a segue into something from the album.

I disagree with the Dani performance. I actually haven't seen them play live very often...I was impressed. I was prepared for them to be much worse.

I don't know about 'far surpassing'. What did you think of Bomb the first week you heard it?

But yeah, kick-ass record.
