Spyware and Adware programs

If you're getting a lot of winfix popups on your computer, you may be infected with 'virtumonde' malware - that's what happened to me, and I had to download a patch because my antivirus and spyware programs couldn't remove it.

There's a couple tools you have to download on there, the first one is the Trojan Vundo removal tool, and then the Adware Virtumonde removal tool, which you can find near the middle of the page.

Also, should note this - I did google searches on virtumonde back when I had it to find programs to delete it, and I found on several sites that there appears to be some concern that it may be infecting computers through a security flaw in older versions of the Java Runtime Environment. This may or may not be a load of bs, but it doesn't hurt updating the program...
