It's "Springsteen Week" on Jimmy Fallon this week.

Bruce and the E Streeters are on the show tonight and Friday. And I think other people will be performing Springsteen songs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Right now Kenny Chesney and Elvis Costello are on the listings.

And knowing Fallon's show, I'd be shocked if Bruce isn't involved in at least one comedy sketch during the week.

I don't know why he made American Land a bonus track... maybe it didn't fit the theme of the album, maybe he didn't want to have three songs that fans already knew on the album. I dunno... but god damn is this studio recording fantastic.

It's great to have a studio version, although I'm not sure if it beats the live one.

Could have been the regular album closer.

And Swallowed Up is a haunting number...
