The final results for Darkness on the Edge of Town were:
Prove it All Night - 7
Darkness on the Edge of Town - 3
Promised Land - 2
Badlands - 1
Candy's Room - 0

Tier 1 Semi-Final is now:
Badlands
Candy's Room
Promised Land
Darkness on the Edge of Town
Thunder Road
Backstreets
Born to Run
She's the One
Jungleland
4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)
Incident on 57th Street
Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)
New York City Serenade

And as a reminder, the songs currently going to the Tier 2 semi are:
Lost in the Flood
For You
Spirit in the Night
It's Hard to Be A Saint in the City

Although it is a tier 2 album, The River will have 6 songs moving on to the semi-final, since it is a double album.

Ok...when I said Racing in the Street was my least favorite song, I was forgetting about one other track. And I really don't know if I want to waste my vote on it. I realize it's possibly THE most unpopular Springsteen opinion I have, but I really really really can not get any enjoyment out of Hungry Heart.

This, in general, is not an album I often sit down and listen to, but I think the six I want to go through are:

Two Hearts
The River
The Ties that Bind
Sherry Darling
Stolen Car
Independence Day

Man, I just have no idea what to vote for first here.

My favorites:

The River
Cadillac Ranch
Point Blank
Two Hearts
Independence Day

There are a few songs I usually don't make it all the way through. Drive All Night is one of them.

That's a good point, lol. I went to a show, and this guy had a GIANT sign for Drive All Night, so big that you just KNEW Springsteen was going to play it, and he did, and it wasn't SO bad live, but it just goes ON AND ON AND ON AND ON.

Drive All Night... imo Bruce is not so good doing long... long... long songs.

I'm not a particularly big fan of Drive All Night either, and it won't matter to me if it goes now or in the next few rounds.

But there's no way it is worse than Crush On You, which as fun a song as it is, shouldn't have been on the album.

I stated this before, but my choices to move on would be:

The Ties That Bind
Hungry Heart
The River
Point Blank
The Price You Pay
Wreck On The Highway

Although if Independence Day were to make it, I'd be happy with that choice too, as it's pretty much equal to Point Blank for me.

And I think they sometimes get lost in the shuffle because they are at the end (and perhaps with Drive All Night in between them, having them all in a row might be too much for most to take), but seriously, The Price You Pay and Wreck On The Highway are two of the best songs he's ever done. Listen to them again on their own without Drive All Night if you don't believe me.

Am I going to be the only one gunning for Cadillac Ranch?

Hey little girl in the blue jeans so tight
Drivin' along through the WISCONSIN night!

I love it, it's so fun.

Hmmm, I don't know this album so well, but my favorites are Out In The Street, Hungry Heart and The River. Will have to think about the next three. Something from among Point Blank, Cadillac Ranch, Two Hearts, Independence Day, You Can Look, I guess.

You're all wrong. I'm A Rocker is filler and can FOAD ASAP.

The three I would bat an eye if eliminated: The Ties That Bind, The River, Point Blank.

i hate hungry heart. that might as well be a mellencamp song.

cadillac ranch rules.

like to see out in the street as the last standing, i think.
