I was going to vote for Highway Patrolman in the still open round 1, but that felt kind of unethical, so I'll do it now.

How is it even possible to vote for "Highway Patrolman," here? One of the highlights of his entire career = one of the weaker songs on this record...? Weaker, even, than "Johnny 99"? Damn it.

Highway Patrolman is so good that Sean Penn turned it into a movie.

That's gotta count for something.

I was just going to say that it's so good that Sean Penn made it into one of the worst movies of the '90s. And I was then going to ask, "Doesn't that count for something?" Great minds think alike, it seems.
