Springsteen Survivor - Human Touch

Please vote for your TWO favorites.

As a result of dwindling votes throughout the Tunnel of Love survivor, and also because of how poor Human Touch polled, the results of this album will be taken from just one round of multiple choice voting. Please only vote for a max of two songs. If you vote for more, your votes will be disqualified.

The Tier 2 Semi-final is now:
Tunnel of Love
Brilliant Disguise
Valentine's Day
Nebraska
Atlantic City
Johnny 99
Reason to Believe The Ties that Bind
Sherry Darling
Two Hearts
Independence Day
The River
Cadillac Ranch
Lost in the Flood
For You
Spirit in the Night
It's Hard to Be A Saint in the City

As a reminder, the Tier 1 Semi is:
Born in the U.S.A.
Downbound Train
I'm on Fire
Dancing in the Dark Badlands
Candy's Room
Promised Land
Darkness on the Edge of Town
Thunder Road
Backstreets
Born to Run
She's the One
Jungleland
4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)
Incident on 57th Street
Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)
New York City Serenade

This is our first Tier 3 survivor. This is going to be brutal.

I'm going to have to listen to this before I vote. How sad is it that I've heard this four or five times and still only know two songs on it?

Clearly the only song that deserves any credit at all is "Human Touch".

Ok, I'm listening to it now, and, Jesus, what a let down you're in for with it starting with "Human Touch". Why the hell is this album an hour long?

And yes, I suspected as much. I find "Soul Driver" to also be a decent song.

Jesus, it's like instantaneous. After 57 Channels ends, your ears IMMEDIATELY tune out the rest of the album.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck the last song on this album is so bad.

Anyways, Human Touch, Soul Driver, With Every Wish and Roll of the Dice are all pretty good songs. Going with Human Touch and Roll of the Dice.

Those four you mentioned are definitely the best ones on this thing. The title track is miles away from everything else though; it's actually one of his best songs. Too bad the album its named after sucks.

So the choice for the second song is fairly close. I really like Soul Driver a bit more, so I'll go with that one too.

I remember first hearing this album and thinking after the first two songs that it was pretty good, but man, does it go south quickly.

It tricks you with With Every Wish and Roll of the Dice back to back. You think the album's going to get better, and then all of a sudden! Brick fucking wall.
