With a final result being THE THIRD tie for Nebraska, the four remaining tracks will go through meaning:

Tier 2 Semi-Final is now:

The Ties that Bind
Sherry Darling
Two Hearts
Independence Day

Cadillac Ranch
Lost in the Flood

Spirit in the Night
It's Hard to Be A Saint in the City

And as a reminder, Tier 1:
Badlands
Candy's Room
Promised Land

Thunder Road

New York City Serenade

Born in the U.S.A. is a Tier 1 album, and will have four songs go through. Weekend round, so this one will be open until Sunday Night, then I'll try and get back to morning rounds on Mondays.

This is going to be the hardest album for me, I do believe. My favorite Springsteen song, period, is "I'm On Fire" so I have high hopes of that going through, as for the rest of it, the only songs I don't want going through are "Bobby Jean" and "No Surrender".

No Surrender is one of the best songs on here.

Cover Me is easily the worst here.

My top four choices would be:

Born In The U.S.A.
Downbound Train
I'm On Fire
No Surrender

So that means, if I'm lucky, I'll have half advance.

Top four:

1. I'm On Fire
2. Born In The USA
3. Downbound Train
4. No Surrender

Glory Days is my least favorite, but I don't want to waste my vote on it. Double/triple elimination would be better.

This is my top four from the album and it's a VERY strong top four for me...these are 4 of my absolute favorite Boss Springsteen tracks:

1. Darlington County
2. No Surrender
3. Downbound Train
4. Dancing In The Dark

Also, I must say, I love everything on this album. It's my 3rd favorite Boss album, and it means a lot to me and I will always love it.

I'll be voting for the title track until it's gone.

ooh! i know this album!

easy vote, my hometown, irrepressibly boring and dull song.

dancing in the dark, i'm on fire, born in the usa, and then any one of no surrender, bobby jean, downbound train.

not really a big fan of this album, it's very american, and i don't like a number of songs.

not really a big fan of this album, it's very american
funny, that's also why i don't care for it

another reason for me is since i grew up on this album, i've heard everything waaaay too much. it all sounds so dated, and usually for me that's a good thing. the title track makes me want to gag, since it being misused so many times has kind of ruined the true meaning of the song for me.

yeah i can understand that. but i still dig that song.

glory days, however, is a good example of not a very good song being overplayed for 20, 30 years and now being atrocious

they play i'm on the fire all the time though, and i still love it.
