Saw it in NYC last night and really did not like it (although I thought some of the music and choreography were creative.) I thought the show at worst trended almost toward porn and at minimum to cheap laughs. The ending also was ludicrous (I won't give away any spoilers but if you know what I mean, I would be interested in your take.)
I could not imagine taking my mom or my nephews to it, and that's sad.
If this is what wins Best Musical then Bono and Edge ought to take it in a walk once Spiderman is ready.
