Spoon's second album A Series of Sneaks is fucking PHENOMENAL. Had elektra not shit all over the band and promoted the thing correctly it could have been a classic. the production on that album--the sound is very unique. I'm trying to desribe it using other bands, but I'm coming up with nothing. You have to hear it on your own. Indie rock at it's absolute best.

I really dig Gimmie Fiction, prefer it slightly to Kill the Moonlight, and it's a toss-up with Girls Can Tell. These guys just have great album titles, huh? Britt Daniel may very well have the coolest voice in rock and roll.

Sister Jack is the single of the year for me, by far. It sounds like a lost Beatles song.
