seriously, i was just curious how many non-'punk rock' bands do these things.
 
Interesting concept. Don't think I've ever seen one in my life.
 
I'm fairly sure that it's only done in the punk genre.

I saw some 'emo' band do it once, but they were one of those bands that's right on the line between being emo and punk so they dont really count at all.
 
yertle, i've got the rancid/nofx cd. i guess it goes to prove that i'm not a nofx fan--i like the nofx songs when rancid does them,but when nofx does songs i like, i can't really listen to them. dolike their cover of 'radio' but i think i'd no matter what.


oh wait. if simple plan did a cover of it, i'd probably hate it and want to tear my ears off :)
 
I have this GREAT split album of Superdrag & The Anniversary. They're not punk but...it still is an interesting concept.
