Spin mag says Beasties are greater than U2! Public radio is smarter.

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Who cares what Spin thinks.

And I like that other list, but U2 is not in the top 5 most influential bands ever. No way. Maybe top 10, top 15 or 20 sure.

A few comments...

Parliament/Funkadelic
K wanna say hell mother fucking yeah here...
The Clash
Wanna Say the only band that matters

Beastie Boys
Ok I love yopu boys, but you're top 20 material, not top 10.
U2
Top 5 material all the way
Run-D.M.C.
It's tricky to rock a rhyme y'all
The Stooges
SO!! FUCKING!!! COOL!!!
Rage Against the Machine
hell yeah.
David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars
36?? 36??? OH HELL NO!! These boys are top 10 easily, if not top five. WTF?
Guns N' Roses
SLASH!
Outkast

I don't think I ever bought a Spin magazine,
Public radio listeners seem to have a better grasp of Rock music than the writers at Spin.

Johnny your right U2 should be in top 10 with the following:

Stooges The Clash Bowie and the Spiders U2 Stones and 5 more, I'm still deliberating.

notiti, thanks for your input, simpatico.

I will now eat a ham sandwich.

at least fugazi get their due.

The more of these I drink the more Bono makes sense.. - Bean from the KROQ Breakfast with U2.

Why are the chili peppers the 50th...? What conspiracy is this? It's hard to sing "give it away, give it away, give it away now" a hundred times fast. Distressing...
