"Dropkick Murphys resident romancer extraordinaire Spicey McHaggis has hung up
his boots at the ripe old age of 19.
Simply put, he met a girl on the road, on went the leash and bye bye went
Spicey.
Whilst in the past it is possible the exploits of said McHaggis may not have
always been true and admittedly were often based more on the side of fantasy
rather than reality it is true that the former Spicy McHaggis has become so
whipped by this fair maiden that he has decided to abandon his comrades and the
glamorous life of a rock and roll piper so that he can cuddle up permanently
with his newest love!
Never ones to give up in the face of adversity the band will forge on and will
not stop until we have unearthed a veritable McHaggis to take lover-boy's place.
Until then our old faithful friend Joe Delaney (our original piper) will be
filling in. However due to previous marital engagements Joe is not allowed to
mix with members of the opposite sex.
We'd like to extend a big thank you to Joe and several other piper friends who
have volunteered to fill until such time as we find a suitable fulltime rover,
who is set to break hearts while having his drinking problem subsidized by clubs
around the world.
