i hated u2 because i knew WOWY,streets, and ISHFWILF. i didn't think a guitar could sound like that, i knew they were around in the 80s, so i figured it must be sytnths. synths are evil, therefore u2 must suck.

It was weird though - I knew some of their songs from the radio, and I liked them, but I didn't know it was them. I just heard them being hyped a lot and I figured they were overrated. Plus, it always bugged me hearing about Bono... I thought he was some loser trying to steal Sonny Bono's name

But then I saw the light...
