my song
song to no one by jeff buckley

Oooohhhhhhhhhh

Back when I was a baby, a baby saying his prayers,
prayers soft and lonely, lonely all these days,
days that meld into nothing, and nothing left for a boy
but to hide his dreams away, hide all his dreams away

Daisies after daisies, a daisy for your floor
Ah days that melt into nothing
A promise piled to the door,
door the door was open
There's nothing left for a boy but to hide these dreams away
…All those dreams decay

Laura…know this song for always
Laura…show this song to no one

I had to fight for these moments, sweet moments of mine
Each line must blossom and die but my song comes strong in time
Nothing left for a boy, nothing left for a boy
But to hide those dreams away, all those dreams decay

Laura…know this song for always
Laura…show this song to no one

Oh I had to fight for these moments, these sweet moments of mine
Each line must blossom , but my song comes strong in time
Although the door was open, there's nothing left for you now
But to hide your dreams away till they come into play

Laura…know this song for always
Laura…show this song to no one
Laura…know this song for always
Laura...Laura…show this song to no one
Show this song to no one

there's about 1000 songs with the name laura in them (from that site)...but most of them are latin or big band//jazz songs...from what i can tell...but i'm happy with my song

Track 19.

Who knew? Makoto's a bit like Evelyn and Vivian in the West - can be both a male and female name (depending on the character's it's written in).

Those are the best ones, I want songs like that, hehe...

There's a great song by Mojave 3 that mentions Jennifer in the first line, but it's called 'Where is the love'. Here's the beginning:

jennifer says that you´ve changed
she says that you´re talking so strange
she laughed when i told her i´d messed
you around, tried to be kind when i cried

Yep...it was written about Ryans old girlfriend Amy Lombardi.

I don’t know why I let go
I want to be your friend
Flowers grow through my window and I love you again
Oh, I love you oh
When you laid me down into your beautiful garden
Flowers in the love of my arms
It’s God shining through to me I guess
It’s God shining through to me I guess
I love you Amy
Do you still love me?

I go to the places where we used to
I feel sad
I am out here looking for you
Sometimes I pretend
Oh, I miss you oh
When you laid me down
Into your beautiful garden
Flowers and the love in my arms
Is God playing evil tricks on me?
Is God playing evil tricks on me?
Oh I love you Amy
Do you still love me?

It would really suck if your number had been that one.

Good song, though.

That Pure Prarie League song is spelled "Amie", by the way-but still pronounced the same way. .

I wonder if anyone out there has the name Adia, 'cause there's a Sarah McLachlan song with that name-that's an unusual name, but if someone has it...there's a song for ya.

Angela

There's a line in the last song on the b-side of The Woodentops album which goes "Monica says . . ."

That's the only example I have.
