I've recently come to the conclusion that I should NOT be singing Can't Stop - RCHP. It's almost rap. I'm a little white girl. I can't rap. Really, it's somewhat pathetic, but the song is so catchy, I almost have to belt it out (at least in private!) :shifty: :uhoh: :|

As well, Audioslave's - Like a Stone  I CANNOT sing like Chris Cornell. I can't make my voice do that deep throated, grumbling, raspy thing that he does sometimes (listen to the song, you'll hear). But I do, anyway, when no one is listening.

So, what do YOU sing that you shouldn't?

Anything by Belinda Carlile.

Actually, no one should sing anything by Belinda Carlile

That's what I've been trying to tell you at karoake night, you Bangle fool.

PS- if you can point out my mistake... who's the bigger loser?

You are, it's common knowledge among '80's female rocker fans that Belinda Carlile was in the GoGo's not the Bangles.

How dare you get my love interests mixed up??

Don't worry, I won't mix up Christopher Walken and Al Roker......

STOP!!! You're killing my thread! I demand that you stop the madness! Fo haunt the random one-liners thread!

:sextwink:

Is it bad that I knew Belinda Carlisle wasn't in the Bangles?

ooh baby
do you know what that's worth
oooh heaven is a place on earth
they say in heaven
love comes first
we'll make heaven a place on earth

when the night comes round
i wait for you when the sun goes down
and (something's) alive
with the sound of kids on the street at night

when you walk into the room
(something something) and it starts to move
(something something something)
and you lift me up in a web of love

that was from memory, by the way.

Back on topic, I don't think anyone should singing 'Hot In Herre' out loud.

*brings the thread back*

i don't sing these, but anything rap or pop...they're either insulting to women, very graphic, or just inane...
