Do you have one of those songs...where everything can be so miserable and depressing...but then you hear that song, and you can't help but smile and feel happy??

Mine is "Downtown" by Petula Clark. :)

Anything by Barry Manilow or Neil Diamond. Seriously. I'm an old woman.

Copa
Copacabaaana...

Also "Beast of Burden" and "Find Another Girl" by the Hives. And "Sweetest Thing"

Katrina and the Waves- Walkin on Sunshine :reject:
The Romantics- What I Like About You

Oh god there's a lot of these...I'll only be able to think of a few though:

*Heavy Metal Drummer--Wilco
*Someday--The Strokes
*Surf Wax America--Weezer
*Wouldn't It Be Nice--The Beach Boys
*Cherry Lips--Garbage
*Sheena Is A Punk Rocker--Ramones
*Temptation--New Order
*Le Tigre--Let's Run

I could go on all day...we don't need that, so I'll stop early. ;)

This is a weird one, but "I Love LA" by Randy Newman always makes me smile and puts me in a good mood. I don't know why?

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (having Wayne's World flashbacks)

Kung Fu Fighting..in fact most disco songs are quite uplifting

:)

haha...yes those two make me smile and laugh. Bohemian Rhapsody reminds me of 1992 Spring Break in Panama City Beach FL, oh yeah. lol Kung Fu Fighting reminds me of my younger brother.

i will have to add Do Me Baby by Bell Biv Devoe. :der: lol because that is a Spring Break 1991 song that reminds me of Mr. Shane McGill and his cute drunk ass dancing and singing to this song at the hot tub...

I agree with "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Buddy Holly".

U2 songs:

Angel Of Harlem
In A Little While (every time I hear the opening music to this song, it never fails, I always get a smile on my face)
The Sweetest Thing (single version...makes me think of the video for it, which I love)
Discotheque (at the "Boomcha!" part-makes me think of that dance U2 does at the end of the video)
Trip Through Your Wires

Non-U2 songs:

Love Shack-B-52s
Underneath Your Clothes by Shakira, All Or Nothing by O-Town, Back At One by Brian McKnight, and All You Wanted by Michelle Branch...I danced with my crush to those songs last year at various dances and so every time I hear them...naturally it brings back good memories and makes me smile

There's some songs I can think of.

Angela

In A Little While is has been my smile-causing song for a while.

I'm thinking Around the World In A Tea Daze by Shpongle has a similar effect. or anything by shpongle for that matter.
