Nice thread! One of the songs you didn't include that I love is Madonna's Rain. Perfect pop of the early 90s!

a few others...

No Rain - Blind Melon
November Rain - GNR
Rain Song - Led Zeppelin
Rain - Beatles
Red Rain - Peter Gabriel

Oh.. and yertle mentioned Massive Attack's Protection! Awesome... just awesome!

November Rain made the second CD, Zoot

And I'm sure 'Rain' is a fine song, but I personally am just not a Madonna fan

Feel The Raindrops - The Adventures
Rain - Dana Glover
Rain - The Cult
Rainy Night In Soho - The Pogues
Waterfall - Stone Roses, bit of a loose connection, but such a great song.

No one has mentioned Dragon's RAIN.

An absolute awesome song from an utterly awesome band, complete with thunderstorm and rain sounds at the beginning and end.
