While watching college football this year, I noticed a lot of familiar names from the 80's:

Wesley Walker
Mark Clayton
Mosi Tatupu
Eric Wright

others I can't think of right now. I wonder, are these the sons of the guys from the 80's with the same names, or were they named after them? It seems more likely they are sons, having the same last name and usually playing the same position. Clayton even does the end zone thing like the old Mark Clayton. Anyone know?

Wesley Walker

not the same... Wesley Walker's son's name is not Wesley Jr. How, you might ask, do I know this useless information? Wesley Walker, former All-Pro Wideout for the New York Jets, is currently a phys ed teacher in the Kings Park School District on Long Island... the same school district where I coach basketball. Before he was moved to the elementary school, we shared an office. Good guy.
