I suppose it has something to do with the fact that when I was little, there was a group of nasty girls who used to call me "Steffi Graf". Not in a good way either. They thought Steffi was (for some reason) ugly. So they'd come up to me saying things like "Go whack yourself in the face with your racquet, Steffi." An eight-year-old doesn't need that. I've never really gotten over it, and as a result, hate my name.
