- got a new car
- started scambaiting and convinced a 419 scammer to go halfway across Senegal in search of a package that didn't exist . . .twice (write me back Rev. Jeans, it's still out there somewhere!)

Okay, so my 2007 was pretty dull .

-Directed a really decent show with a kick-ass lead
-lost 32 pounds and wore my high school prom dress
-turned my son into the 2nd biggest LMJ fan
-passed the English Teacher certification test
-made some cool art and sewed some cool clothes
-survived a desert summer
-apologized profusely for accusing Alex of taking acid (even though it was a JOKE, for god's sake man!)

It was a good year.

My wife had a baby. But I can't really put that on my list. I just sorta tried real hard to not make a "are you fucking kidding me" face during the labor.

Went to NYC for the first time using money I earned myself, not on my parents money.
Met Sting's son at The Police concert on my 21st birthday
Helped create a Democratic majority in the Virginia State Senate

That's all I can think of.

Well, 2007 wasn't really the best year for me, but I'll try to only focus on the small # of good things that happened:

--Lost a few pounds here toward the end of the year.
--Got to see an Interferencer (Martha, love her!) at a concert
--Ended my "bedroom" drought and received high, high praise and compliments in that area
--Got to see my awesome sister kicking-ass and taking names, playing the #5 Bass drum in her high-school band competitions
--Got to see a number of amazing, amazing concerts: The Bravery, Bloc Party (3x), LCD Soundsystem, The Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Genesis and a couple smaller festival concerts.
--Went to one of the best concerts of my entire LIFE: Bloc Party #2
And finally,
--Co-chaired my 1st and 2nd courtroom trials. Most nervewracking, completely exhausting and accomplished things I did all year.

A lot of bad, disappointing crap happened this year too, so I definitely want next year to be much, much better.

Phoenix. I'd rather not say the name of the resort I'll be at.

You have a better avatar now than you did at the end of 2006. That's something right there.

Here's my thing:

I got to see Arcade Fire and stand close to Regine (not really close, but...). And I got pulled over by a security guard for bootlegging. Come on, that's pretty damn awesome.
