I didn't know it was the year's most anticipated...

I read all the music magazines and have barely heard of the guy other than that he's got a new album.

I would think Eminem's would be the most anticipated

anticipated in terms of "What will he think of next?!"

Not in terms of wide appeal or style.

anticipated as in he made (accorfing to critics) one of the most important albums (in his genre) in the 90's and made us wait 6 years for this one

No, Salome, I do not even know what a DJ Shadow is, but I recently bought Widespread Panic's new 3-disc live set, :IVE IN THE CLASSIC CITY.

Salomey, u know I like you, and I like you even more now
You like Aphex Twin and DJ Shadow, nice picks! And I was just gonna start a thread on this, got it yesterday, listening to it right now IT KICKS A WHOLE LOTTA ASS! Funkadelic. More mainstream in places, the single Can't Go Home Again or whatever is a great marker for the style he has here. That sound is pretty constant throughout. The chilled big beat effect is still there, with short blasts of energy.

It's MUCH MORE instant than Entroducing, there's more lyrics present, but I love it!!! Only Cornelius' Fantasma, Beck's Odelay, and U2's Boy had as instant an affinity to me.

BUY IT!!!!

I'll be back
