Traded K-Rod and B. Wagner for Abreu and Zito midseason. After having a stellar first half, Abreu did absolutely nothing for the first month I had him -- he literally went into his slump the day I activated him (one day prior he had 5 RBI). Zito was more or less a throw in and he turned out to be huge for me, so all in all, the trade turned out to be worth it.

lol, I was the third placed Los Tigres - the guy who traded you Abreu & Zito. That trade helped me pick up on my numbers. Especially since my drafted closers Gange and Mota broke down for the season. Krod was big for me in being consistant with the saves and Wagner contributed enough to help me along. I kept monitoring Abreu and was relieved that I got the most from him - I kind of kicked myself for letting Zito go but I thought the trade was pretty fair.

Next time, I suggest we all play in head to head competitions. I think it might make more people stay interested in the long haul when you have someone new to beat every week.
