Anyone watch this last night (or Monday in Canada)?

I thought it was well done (although I missed bits and parts of it due to other matters) even though every time I see Ray Liotta I expect him to be narrating about his drug runs, his time in the witness protection programme, etc a la Goodfellas

All in all, quite promising though, if a little violent for my taste...

I am watching the show for one reason only

It does look like a pretty good plot. I think there are some interesting characters. The only thing I hope they add is a " determinded FBI/ detective character" who's only goal is to catch "Smith". That will make the show even more intriging.

it is the best new show on network
and maybe even cable in years

the writing is smart

the production values are the highest

the acting and actors are all top notch
most of them are Motion picture actors

not just one or two dropped in to create a buzz

this is light years ahead of the others drama/ actions series
like Vanished

^ vanished is

This I really like! The star presence is good, but the fact they have good material is even better. The only thing I didn't like was the cop scene near the end. They rubbed me the wrong way. I think they will be annoying to watch. I can't even really remember the scene...I just remember a major feeling of being irritated by them. Lots of eye candy for everyone too...good times!

female leads are blondes, and we prefer dark hair

Word is going around that actor Ray Liotta may already have had his
fill of his new U.S. TV series Smith.

The New York Post pounced Thursday on Liotta's published statements
that there were days when he vowed he would not stay long on the CBS
crime drama that premiered this season.

Between the hours, the speed you have to get (the episodes) done, the
egos involved ... and it's not as collaborative as I thought it would
be, Liotta said in a Post quote attributed to Entertainment Weekly.

Although Liotta added that there were also films he was involved in
that tested his patience, the Post noted that such public grousing is
not the type of thing a producer wants to hear from the star of a show
that's just getting off the ground.

:(

Sorry to those who liked this show: (from MSNBC)

Here’s something Ray Liotta won’t be putting on his resume: star of the first new TV show to bite the dust this fall.

“Smith,” the Tuesday night CBS drama with Liotta leading a band of high-stakes thieves, is off the schedule, the network said Friday. It will be replaced temporarily by reruns of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Criminal Minds.”
