Sigur R?s is an unlikely candidate for the role of critical favorite, but that's exactly what this Iceland band is. On releases such as 1999's Agaetis Byrjun and the more recent ( ), the music oozes like syrup and the lyrics are sung in some fictitious, unintelligible language. But Sigur R?s (translation: Victory Rose) is all about art. For example, its first video from ( ) debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. From Sundance, the band has been touring America for the next few weeks, including this stop at the historic Granada.
