Random thought; I noticed that Universal HD (Obviously a high definition channel here in the States) has U2's R&H scheduled to play in a few days and it has it lasting 3 hours....?
it can go longer :giggle:

You'd be the ideal person to put this idea into practice.

Huh. I'd never even risked it, since my encounters with peanuts in any other form had never ended too well.

I won't claim to have any great knowledge of food, but yeah, I'll try just about anything once. New foods are always exciting. Or learning to cook something new as well; I like adding new dinners to what I eat regularly.
 good! i liked doing the parties.

here's a question: did you have any chick-fil-a while in tennessee?

there's got to be a server, and tons of bandwidth...i remember gorman was nice enough to let us use his configurations, even when he wasn't around.

I'm sure he'll be willing to participate again this time around, and we'll have to get a few people to do mirrors. I'd like things to be more organised than last time - I was thinking of maybe asking you or somebody else with their own webspace to make a bit of a listing so that people can nominate to be the source, and list back-ups and stuff. Let's get this right. Things were fun last time, but some of the frantic attempts to organise things and sources falling through weren't so good.

I definitely wanna get in on helping with the setlist stuff this time around, make up for the fact that, though I was a member of the board during the last tour, I was painfully unaware of my surroundings.

someone would agree prior to the concert to be our source. we'd call them before the show using skype, and it would be broadcast online for everyone to hear.

Often with an audio quality that makes the beach clips seem pristine ...

you know, that's a good idea. i'd be up to using my webspace for a good cause

i could set up a page listing who's volunteered to be the source for each concert, so people would know ahead of time if the concert they're attending needs a source.

and it goes without saying, but i'll be a source for any concerts i attend. i'd like to see the opening night (hopefully in vegas!!!) and a show or two in boston, which i hope would be in the third leg. they usually go to boston for the first and third leg, right?

Nope. Though its name cracks me up. It sounds like a bad brothel.
 it's a fast food restaurant serving chicken. they're christian, but you wouldn't really know. it's not like there's bibles in the restaurant or anything. i kinda worked there for four years :reject:

the reason i ask is because all their food is fried in peanut oil. if you'd had their food and lived to tell the story, then i know you're fine with peanut oil.

Let's do this LMP-style.

Axver, have you ever seen The Battle of Algiers? It is a really great French movie I think you would enjoy.

/un-shun

Surprisingly, I've seen a bit. In Terrorism In Modern Conflict last year, the lecturer played a couple of scenes from it when discussing the FLN. It looked good but I just haven't gotten around to seeing the whole thing.

PS Your idea for an NLOTH bootleg recording cracked me up.

Is this why they are closed on Sundays!???!!!

dammit.
:lmao: yes. i tell you though, it was awesome when i worked there, cuz i knew i'd be guaranteed one day a week off. plus, it was easy to have employee meetings since that was the one day everyone wasn't working, obviously.

but still, without fail, every sunday i want chick-fil-a! :scream:

Awesome. I remember I tried to do a couple of threads asking for sources, but it became confused and didn't help too much. I figure a centralised webpage listing would make things work better. It'd probably be a good idea to sticky a thread discussing the feeds and linking to the page too.

Coolness. Yeah, Boston tends to be played on both legs, at least if it's an arena tour. Popmart's third leg skipped the Boston area, but it was hitting markets that hadn't been done on the first leg. Personally, I won't be travelling beyond Australia/New Zealand this time. Right now, the only band I'd consider doing that for is Porcupine Tree, and I can't afford it so it's a moot point.

Haha, oh, that's right, I forgot they were a bunch of fundies. That's just completely bizarre to me. But it makes the fact their name sounds like a bad brothel or porn movie all the more amusing. I know it's meant to be pronounced "chick-fill-ay", but I read it as "chick filler" and think of "XXX GIRLS WAITING FOR BIG COCKS TO FILL THEIR HOLE".

Ahh, right. Maybe I'll just have to take a risk and get U-Wen to take me to some good Chinese restaurant ...

yeah. i'd put it in my sig too so people would know where to find the website too.

ooh, i see. plus, if it's arenas, maybe they'd come here again :hmm: but i won't get my hopes up for that. and i hear you about travelling. i'm dying to go to vegas so there's that excuse, and a friend of mine in boston wants me to visit, so there's the other excuse.

If the tour starts during spring break, a very real possibility, and it's in Vegas, I'm beyond there. I turn 21 in September, making it doubly exciting
