I watched an episode of M*A*S*H last night for the first time in years
:lmao:
What a great script, what great actors. Can someone tell what Colonel Henry's last name was? I remember Colonel Sherman Potter, but what was Henry's name?( one of those niggling questions) I vividly recall the episode where Henry finished his tour of duty and was killed on the flight home...oh that was a sad one:(
Last night's ep. was sooo funny though. Hotlips and Frank broke up and she was drinking.....thus my new signature :lmao:
she said to Frank "I believe you have my leather bound army manual, my cuticle scissors, my tweezers and my Doris Day scrapbook".
.......Doris Day :lmao: whay doesn't that surprise me, attention to detail.
There was a classic varicose vein line from the operating theatre too..it reminded me of diamond:lmao:

My kids watch endless reruns of the Simpsons..but other than that I haven't seen a good cartoon for yonks.

Colonel Henry............? tip of my tongue.......PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE
Honnicut, Hawkeye, Radar O'Reilly:hug: the guy in the dress:lmao
Henry.......Henry........????Higgins????

Henry Blake

Believe it or not, my dad wrote a book about the tv series M*A*S*H....

PS - Guy in the dress is Corporal Maxwell Klinger

Eureka!! BLAKE!

Thanks popmofo..I can sleep in heavenly peace now. THANKS.:)

I just watched another good show imho( Old square eyes these days. It's winter, very cold outside at night. TV by the fire is a good option)
Anyway,
"Celeb", a BBC comedy about a retired rockstar named Gary Bloke:lmao: styled after Johnny Depp's pirate character from what I've read here. It was the last episode tonight and they made a joke at Bono's expense....naughty, but he is very famous.

PS: popmofo, I do believe you. Yo dad
"call me Henry Forpete'ssake"
"I'll get this out right away sir"Radar
"Get this out right away" Colonel Henry Blake

MASH was (is? it's on reruns enough) such a great show. Hawkeye was, of course, my favorite.

mash is great

sheep in the big city is on in the u.s., i've never seen it though

dragon ball z is theonly thing i watch on cartoon network

:shifty:

The only thing I know about Mash is the theme song, which was covered by the Manic Street Preachers. It's definitely one of their more 80s-rock kind of songs. Listening to it now, in fact. Hahaha.

Through early morning fog I see
Visions of the things to be
The pains that are withheld for me
I realise and I can see

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please

That game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card of some delay
So this is all I have to say

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
I can take or leave it if I please

The sword of time will pierce our skin
It doesn't hurt when it begins
But as it works its way on in
The pain grows stronger, watch it burn

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please

A brave man once requested me
To answer questions that are key
Is it to be or not to be
And I replied oh why ask me

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I...

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
And you can do the same thing if you please
