For sure. I keep wondering if there are precarious mountain pass lines like you see in the movies.. there aren't any tunnels on here. I've never been through a tunnel on a train, there must be some out west.

To think of how the railroad came to be here, how it united us from coast to coast.. to see how it has dwindled in recent years is really quite heartbreaking.

Judging by albums that I know were released as just single vinyl albums, you must be able to include closer to 25 minutes.

Yeah, it's not going to work this way, I'm gonna look back through the DI IV lists and see how this was managed

Yeah, I know the line through the Rockies is one hell of a feat of engineering. Got to get myself to Canada one day! And wow, there's no tunnels out your way? I take them for granted! Then again, I do come from Wellington, a fucking hilly place, and the railway line from central Wellington the Kapiti Coast has about ten tunnels ...

Government underinvestment in infrastructure seems to be a common pattern worldwide. Or at least outside Europe. Now there's a continent that's got transport right. Meanwhile, in North America and down in this part of the world, governments still seem to forget that investing in rail would be a fucking good idea to reduce road congestion and pollution.

Google ad: "My guide Ireland - your destination specialist"
And what's the picture of? Rolling green hills? Ancient ruins? Dublin's architecture?

No. It's an old dude untangling a fishing net.

Well, I suppose he would be a "destination specialist" if you were going to Ireland to check out fish markets ...!

Ok, so, looking through the DI lists I noted the following:

PFan did a double album, and his list was only about 2 Hours long
Atomic Bono broke her list up into four parts, but it as one long list
Pla/Tre broke their list up into six parts, similar to AB
John/Dani did the same, breaking theirs into 7 parts
And The Tourist used three vinyl albums
