i got a new kittie yesterday. his name is dolemite. we needed a friend for tabitha. she's a little freaked out still but she's getting used to him. he's only four and a half months old!

Also when you are having them meet each other you could dab a bit of Vanilla Extract on each cat at the base of their tail, under their chin and back of their neck so that they smell the same.

yeah i've got three more but they're living with my parents. i didn't have the money to take all four with me so i took the one that was really mine (i went out and picked her, etc.).

yeah, i've been trying to gradually introduce the two of them. tabitha still isn't too thrilled but she just hisses and (sometimes) growls, but she's yet to bat at him, bite him, or do that yelling thingie cats do when they fight. so it could be worse. the two of them have curled up next to each other so it's getting better. whenever dolemite is around tabitha i try to pet her so she realizes she's not being replaced or anything.

Such a cute little black and white kitty! I had one (black and white -- I have many cats) that was just great. He just arrived as a young kitten and I named him Munchkin (Munchie for short)since he was so small. When he got older everyone thought he was called Munchie because he obviously liked to eat!

ooh i have an update! tabitha seems to have completely warmed up to him so i'm keeping him out now. she's hissed at him once in the past 24 hours. it's because she was grooming him and he got up to leave. so she hissed and grabbed his head.

and i didn't even have to break out the vanilla extract! (which is good cuz i just realized i don't even have any yet!) this weekend i'm sure i'll get lots of cute pics of the two of them. at the very least i'll get more cute pics of dolemite. tonight i was taking a brief break from cleaning the house and he laid down on my shoulder and was also on the top of the loveseat. he was laying on his back and looking up at me. it made up for all the times i've caught him clawing the loveseat.
