now that I've re-read that article, I wonder if maybe being infront of the live audience and all that stuff of being live was just to much. He's still going to have his other show and be involved in other stuff. I thought at first that he'd been kicked off all together. He probably just wants to start a new project or focus more on his resturants and his other show.

the man's gota be exhausted.....even for someone as energetic as him, he'd need a break.

I read the article & either don't remember or didn't pay attention - there was no mention of cancelling Essence of Emeril, right? Just the live nightly show.

Besides, Emeril's one of the people that made Food Network - you'll know he'll be around for specials, etc.
