Saw wilco for the 5th time in the last year, and with the obvious exception of u2, this is the best touring band right now.
What an incredible group of musicians- really at the top of their game right now. They played about 2.5 hours, opening with misunderstood. The best opening to any show i think i have ever seen. they played the standards from ghost and foxtrot, and ended with a great note with monday and outtasite.
Even if you are not a wilco fan, you need to see this band. the are so tight musically, they have a great sense of humor, and they just put on a great show.
I'm not sure why they are not bigger than they are, but i'll enjoy the nice 2500 seat venues while i can. now if u2 would just get them to open for a show or two- we could see the greatest rock show ever.
