What can I say? I think "Save the Last Dance for Me" eclipses "Stand By Me" infinitely in quality, resonance, and melody. It's just a beautiful, beautiful pop song and still sounds completely fresh today. Anyone else care to appreciate this simple masterpiece?

Stand by me has become a classic (arguably) mostly because of other artist versions

I would agree that Save the last dance is the better song

it always makes me that wee bit happier
