TTYW yes, ISHFWILF ... it's close.

Over the last couple of years, ISHFWILF has just totally lost me. I used to actually enjoy it, but now it puts me to sleep.

I love Rise up, but is it wrong of me to think it'd make a great ad song for Viagra

Hey Ax, cool thread title. Wherever did you get the idea for it?

So LemonMacPhisto, Pfan and I are thinking of doing a David Bowie survivor.

However what we do is vote to see how many songs from each album. Then vote songs into a 64 field. From there we seed them and it goes on like March Madness. Does that sound good?

Gabe's thread in IO mentioned U2. Which you're not supposed to do. Everyone jokingly called him on it, and he got jokingly defensive. Then they continued and he got legitimately defensive. Leading to posts like this:

In all SERIOUSNESS, check this out:

1. I really think the rule is stupid.

2. There is no official specifc rule about It's Official, whereas there are those for PLEBA and other areas.

3. Contextually, the 'democratically chosen' rule of no U2 in IO can't work. Look where IO is placed on the forum. It is contained in the section called Your Blue Room. EVERY subsection in that section is ABOUT U2!!! Conversely, there is an ENTIRE SECTION devoted to OFF TOPIC concerns, and if IO is SUPPOSED to be TRULY void of ANYTHING U2, then it should be in LYPTON VILLAGE, or EVEN in Lemonade Stand.

(wow, I can feel patheticness just oozing out of my eyeballs after having to devote a split second to typing that!!)

I doubt you'd know.

I think we'll do Dildo, Newfoundland next too.

Wow, I didn't think anyone would care that passionately about IO/any forum.

I like that. It sounds like an improvement on the voting for the Radiohead survivor. I'm in.

A night in Dildo I think it's called.

I promise you, a Bowie Survivor won't go any better than PF Survivor.

Now, REM Survivor, that'd take off.

Plus, I'd care more about an REM Survivor.

That's the page where Dalton gets involved in the thread. It's too funny.

Ah yes.. here it is

Oh Newfoundland, oh Newfoundland
An island in the sea
I love you oh so very much
I'd join the ministry

To show the people ‘round the rock
When tourist season's here
Although in my opinion
It's a gem throughout the year

Well if you're one for swimmin'
Don't think it's out of reach
You can go and take a dip along Grosse Water Beach
I know the name's misleadin'
That's quite a problem here
Instead let's go to Goobie's and have ourselves a beer

Chorus:
From Woody's Point to Come-by-Chance to good old Fairyland
Come take a look at Gander, Blackhead's mighty grand
Don't let their names deceive you
Newfoundland's mighty fine
So spend a night in Dildo if you think you've got the time

Well you can go to Blow-Me-Down
Before it gets too dark
Oh sorry ma'am, I should've said
That's our provincial park

There's also Whippet Harbor
Or maybe Butterpot
Or maybe I'll just hit the pub,
I'm feeling like a shot.

Well you can sail at Quidi Vidi
And look at Joe Batt's Arm
There's Placentia and there's Cow Head (moo)
They're so full of charm!

Get married down in Kilbride
Have a party in Hate Bay
Or have some screech in Fogo and forget about the day

Chorus

Drinking Verse:
-raa ra ra . .etc.

Chorus

So spend a night in Dildo if you think you've got the time (x3)

When we get our 64 field, I'll send you and anyone who wants them, the songs.

Plus you can vote on Station To Station and Low.

We need to find it and link it from the first post or something.
