Yeah, but you think WTTW is U2's best song.

But TTYW sucks immensely and ISHFWILF is more boring than one of U2387's overly long rambles in response to non-serious posts, while Rise Up is awesomeness.

TTYW would have made a great b-side. Then again so would Womanfish.

It's a long story. To summarize: Gabe posted a thread in It's Official that brought him some scorn. He began sniping Dalton throughout the forum. Dalton posted in the Bar (before it sucked). So, he followed us into the Bar (where we were having a discussion on him) and began sniping at Dalton and the Bar in the Bar.

Inexplicably, he began posting in the Bar as if he was a regular, as if he hadn't spent a good month waging an Internet war against its members. Most of us totally ignored him, but enough recognized his presence to convince him he was a part of it.

One day, NSW finally broke his silence and called Gabe out. He eventually apologized, but he hit the nail on the head.

Let's swap Spanish Eyes and TTYW's places, and dump WTTW for Womanfish.

Oh no.

Womanfish had some great energy. "Love is all you needed, love is all."

Ahh, I see. I don't get Gabe. But I sure as hell can imagine NSW absolutely owned him. He's good like that.

And what's the deal with the Bar now? Is it still clinging to life?

I saw all of the rest but never caught that.

Trip Through Your Wires is the one song I skip whenever I listen to The Joshua Tree.

My ranking of the JT era songs, loosely. Putting them in order seems too hard.

Classic
- One Tree Hill
- Streets
- Spanish Eyes
- Luminous Times
- RHMT
- WOWY
- MOTD

Great
- RTSS (classic live)
- IGC
- Exit (classic live)
- Rise Up

Good
- Bullet (classic live on ZooTV)
- Race Against Time
- Desert Of Our Love
- Silver And Gold

Alright
- Wave Of Sorrow
- Womanfish

Meh
- Walk To The Water
- Deep In The Heart

Poor
- Sweetest Thing

Suckage
- Trip Through Your Wires

What a fucking amazing era.

Where'd it come from? Are you kidding? It's a cumulative effect. You annoy the living shit out of me, and, I truly wish you'd just shut up. You won't be doing it anytime soon, I realize this, but, regardless, I wish you would.

It was a small joke. Very small. I don't know what your problem is with me, to be honest.

If I'm bothering you that much NSW, you might need a break. Your barbs haven't gone unnoticed, but to be honest they don't bother me at all. I'm me, I've been here a long time, and I'm not going anywhere.

Gabe, listen closely. I need no break. I like interference. I dislike you. That's all. Simple. You always look to turn things around, sorry, this is not about me needing a break. This is about you being insufferable. I know you're not going anywhere, you revel in being a dick. You enjoy that everyone from 16 year olds to full fledged adults to the Mods themselves cannot stand you, I get that about you. That's not going to preclude me from stating that I think that you're an asshole.
