Right now, I'm on a bit of a shoegazer kick.

Ride and Swervedriver are awesome.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

And I'll agree that Selling England > Lamb, but neither inspired me to listen to any more Genesis.

No Foxtrot? Or Nursery Cryme? (Seven Stones, Fountain of Salmacis. *drool*)

Like I said, neither of the two albums I heard were good enough - or good at all - to motivate me to hear more by Genesis.

Supper's Ready is an alright song, but nothing remarkable, and again no motivation to check out more.

Where's Jen? She's probably going to be sad she's missing you, Liam.

Supper's Ready is quite mediocre in terms of Genesis songs, though. A lot of padding and stuff.

You need Gabriel IV though. *laughs*

Supper's Ready is the best Genesis song I've heard. Sad commentary on the band really. They need to take their share of the blame for the demise of prog.

Though the best prog bands have been those of the last couple of decades.

Oh, and Liam, I posted earlier that the new Marillion album is going to suck. Why?

1. It's going to be a double album.
2. It's called Happiness Is The Road.
3. It has a song called She's Older Than Me.

EPIC PHAIL.

Hey Ali!

Just writing my review of the PT Melbourne concert right now. Because, you know, that's totally going to get my uni essays done.
