Sad beautifull story on the internet (dogs involved) :(

this is a mail that I got

A dog was seen in the middle of the streets taking care of its already dead friend

It tried to push its friend out of the street

Despite the heavy traffic the dog wouldn´t leave its friend

An example of what a friend is

I'm crying now. That is just too sad..

I hope someone at least stopped and pulled it out
of the road for the sake of the other dog.

That's so horrible. I hope the dog didn't suffer for long after being hit. Animals are truly incredible, and much smarter than we give them credit for.

I did some Googling to see if there was anything else to this story, but only found a few links...one with disparaging remarks about the nationality of the people taking pictures, so I won't post the link.

It's sad yet inspiring at the same time. I just wished more humans acted like those dogs sometimes

Poor dogs. I saw a squirrel do that one. Someone flattened his buddy in the parking lot and the poor little guy didn't know what to do. He was running circles around the body, almost getting squished himself. I wanted to chase him off, for his own safety.
