I just listened to Exile on Main St for the first time straight thorugh. 
The Stones and the beatles, ironically, never interested me that much. Sure, I know their music, but I never had periods of complete absorption of their music, like I did with Bowie, Led Zepp, U2, The Who, etc.
I just gotta say, though, that Exile on Main St. is amazing. I wish I had listened to it sooner.
