SIXTY SIX TO TIMBUKTU -- the stunning first-ever compilation of solo material by Robert Plant, arrives Tuesday!

The 2-CD, 35-song anthology spans the full range of Plant's groundbreaking work outside of Led Zeppelin.

The collection travels in time from Plant's first pre-Led Zeppelin single in 1966 to a live recording made recently in Timbuktu. Included are original album tracks, rarities, previously unreleased material, and classics from Robert Plant as well as The Honeydrippers - all beautifully remastered. Both CDs will also include special CDKeys that allow accesss to an exclusive website featuring rare video footage and interviews.

... Well wasn't a huge fan of his solo stuff, but I'm sure there are some diehards out there. Enjoy.

I also am not what you would call a fan of his solo stuff, although a former member of The Cure was the guitarist on one of his albums (Porl Thompson)
