It is a traditional tune oft-covered by the Allman Brothers Band and the Grateful Dead.

He is on Austin City Limits, now playing "Going to California." Much like the Page/Plant show, but with 2 goobs filling in for Page.

two goob-bears?

i saw page/plant a few years ago, last i heard page had seriously injured his back after doing that thing with the black crowes

Yes, I have heard most of his Black Crowes CD; it is some damn good white blues. This Plant set ain't too shabby either, it's just that he has all these youngsters up there jamming with him and hs is near 60. The musicians are great, just not the LedZep look. They are doing a weird re-working of "In My Time of Dying" right now, with an accordion. Yes, that's what I said.
