A MAN is in a critical condition after falling from a railing while dancing at the Robbie Williams concert in Melbourne last night.
The 23-year-old was believed to be standing on a railing on the second level of Telstra Dome when he slipped, falling several metres and landing on the crowd below, a police spokeswoman said today.
The Box Hill man was treated by St John first aid volunteers before being taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with head injuries.

"He has landed on a female fan, who was not physically injured but was treated for shock," the police spokeswoman said.

A hospital spokeswoman said the man remained in a critical condition.

A spokeswoman for Telstra Dome says St John volunteers and security staff were on the scene almost immediately.

And she says there were extra security staff on last night to cope with the record concert crowd of 58,163.

OUCH!
